A Little About Kyle

Kyle Horne was raised between Alaska and New Zealand. He is just as happy hiking and having adventures with his dog in the middle of nowhere, as he is exploring, with coffee in hand, one of the fantastic cities he bases himself in: Los Angeles, and London.

Kyle fills his time with  his dog, proper coffee, traveling, friends, dancing, running (among many other sports), flying, laughing, spending time in the snow, and the sun, but most of all, spending time with his family.

At 16, Kyle started a non profit called Together! ACT Now that uses theatre for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention in Malawi. He is very passionate about his work in Malawi and is always excited when he gets to go back to Africa to work on the project.

Kyle has had the pleasure of running a robust literacy program at one of the top ten pediatric hospitals in America, bringing books to life for patients stuck at the hospital.

From a young age Kyle was bit by the acting bug. He was lucky to have a large theatre community that provided many opportunities to explore new characters and grow as an actor in professional theatres, with an emphasis on Shakespeare.

He went to Interlochen Arts Academy to study drama for the last two years of high school and had a wonderful experience being in the woods of Michigan. Upon graduation he knew he wanted to train at one of the old, prestigious conservatories in England.

He was beyond ecstatic when he received his acceptance to the BA Acting course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

To be able to follow in the footsteps of people like Dame Judi Dench, Lord Laurence Olivier, Vanessa Redgrave, Harold Pinter, James Purevoy, Rufus Sewell, Martin Freeman, Andrew Garfield among many others, was an honor.

Kyle left Central a term early to take his first professional job, an all-male UK/EU tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, playing Titania, Demetrius and Snug with the oldest outdoor touring company, The Festival Players. Kyle received fantastic reviews from his performance and had a wonderful time taking his training into practice at such an early stage of his career.

Kyle has been spending a lot of time writing and producing his own work over the last few years. He has successfully written, sold, optioned, produced and filmed multiple projects in all stages of development.
